The Peppers

I'm very honored to visit Scarsdale High School and homestayed with the Peppers between 10-14 October, 2005. I met Jerry, Sue, Erica, and Christina, but Michelle and Amy were not home. They all welcomed me very well. I was very pleased that they liked my Thai dish - chicken curry and carrot salad.I wish I had cooked more food for them.
Thank you very much for all your kindness. Hopefully, I can welcome you all in my hometown in the coming year.

This kind of flower always gives nice fragrant in the mornings and early evenings.

It's called "sa-loud" in Thai.

Yesterday Once More

Can you remember where we snapped this picture, kids?

What flying time!

You all were my babies the other days and today have flown out from the nest already!

What would you be in the next 10 years' time?

I just wonder...

My Dear Jeab

It was about 9 pm. on Monday 21th November, 1977 that she was born at Phangnga Hospital. Sounds unbelievable that time has passed so quick! She was quite skinny when being young because she didn't like to eat any food! I had to see and consult the doctor and got some pills for her. However she didn't even like the pills so I had to throw them away! Let her be herself! So far, she has been as trim as she used to be. Many Happy returns on your special occasion, dearest Jeab. I love you.

Thai Rice

It has been the green rice season so far. Its flower has been sprung lately and that looks really beautiful for me.. Not too long, the golden rice paddies will be covering all around here.

Thai Hibicus

It's called 'Cha-ba" in Thai and looks as beautiful as Hawaiian Hibicus. However, it's always easy to wither, just a day after its first bloom.
